The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Sustainability and Procurement Specialist to join its Property Strategy and Planning team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the Ministry's leased portfolio and ensuring that it is cost-effective and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Ministry's leased portfolio, ensuring that all leases are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve sustainability in the Ministry's leased premises.
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Provide expert advice on property management and lease negotiation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Relevant industry or technical qualifications and/or certifications.
- Client and tenant relationship experience.
- Well-developed procurement, negotiation, and lease management skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
