The Christchurch City Council is seeking a skilled Construction Services Specialist to join its Technical Services & Design Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Council projects and physical works contracts are managed efficiently.
About the Role
As a Contract Supervisor, you will deal directly with contractors on a regular basis to ensure construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required scope. You will also participate in tender evaluations to secure the best contractors for the job.
Main Responsibilities

- Ensuring effective management of contractors and construction projects.

- Participating in tender evaluations to select the best contractors for the job.
- Stakeholder Engagement

Requirements

- A qualification aligned to Civil Engineering or extensive experience in stormwater management or parks/landscape development.
