Job Description

The Integration team helps to ensure that KiwiRail Freight's technology systems are seamlessly integrated to support information flows between systems in a structured and controlled manner. The team is responsible for 24/7 support incident management for integration services when and where required.


Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing support and development of integration services, and build, create, monitor and develop services.
  • Develop integration frameworks and work within existing frameworks to ensure consistency of services to both external and internal customers.
  • Lead a team, developing and implementing solutions, interacting and resolving with customers business integration issues, maintaining lifecycle of APIs and integration services.
  • Keep across new technology developments and trends, troubleshooting issues, proactively reporting on and remediating issues, contributing to and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

Your experience will demonstrate a solid understanding of integration concepts in enterprise environments and you will have at least 5 to 10 years working within large scale organisations to deliver integration capabilities.


  • Designing APIs
  • API technologies (REST/SOAP/gRPC)
  • SOA/microservices based architectures
  • Technologies such as Azure Monitor and Alerts
  • A sound understanding of SDLC processes
  • Exposure to other integration platforms such as FME, IBM Data Power
  • Exposure to Identity management and OAuth B2B and B2C
