The Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our Health and Wellbeing Team, supporting clients across the Tāmaki Makaurau region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing individualised support plans for clients.
  • Collaborating with the team to design and deliver group programs that promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Providing one-on-one support and guidance to clients, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.

Essential Requirements

  • New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working as a support worker, preferably in mental health and addiction services.
  • Strong understanding of Te Ao Māori principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
