The Position Description
We are seeking a Farm Support Worker to join our team at Hamlin Road Organic Farm. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals in real employment, maintaining the farm, and assisting with their health and wellbeing. Your responsibilities may include helping them access resources, building resilience, and connecting with their communities.
Key Responsibilities
Some key responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting individuals in real employment and assisting them with their health and wellbeing
- Maintaining the farm and ensuring its smooth operation
- Running a market stall and assisting with online website sales
- Providing information and resources to help individuals access the support they need
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be successful in this role, you must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognized equivalent. You should have knowledge in the Health and Wellbeing sector and a caring nature. This role requires heavy lifting, so you must be able to lift crates. You will also need to work weekends, cover market stalls, and provide excellent customer service.
