The Role

This is a senior position for someone able to work independently and ideally lead a team of 3-7 people. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, diagnostics, refurbishment, and general engineering in geothermal and hydro power generation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair heavy rotating equipment and industrial plants in the power generation sector
  • Develop and implement quality procedures and safety protocols
  • Lead a team of up to 7 people and provide guidance and support
  • Travel within New Zealand and work at various client sites

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • A Level 4 trade qualification as a Fitter Turner, Fitter Machinist or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in heavy rotating equipment/industrial plant maintenance
  • Natural leadership and communication skills
  • Commitment to safe working practices and quality procedures
