Clinical Lead in Neurodevelopmental Services

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments for adults
- Determine clinical suitability for pharmacological treatment and create individualised treatment plans
- Manage a caseload of patients undergoing titration and shared care
- Support primary care colleagues through advice, collaboration and training
- Provide clinical supervision for independent non-medical prescribers
Requirements
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
- CCT in General Adult Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Psychiatry of Learning Disability, Rehabilitation Psychiatry or Substance Misuse Psychiatry
- Higher qualifications and/or training in the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental conditions are desirable
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice
- Experience working in MDTs for patients with complex needs
- Strong team ethos and the ability to collaborate effectively
