Clinical Lead in Neurodevelopmental Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments for adults
  • Determine clinical suitability for pharmacological treatment and create individualised treatment plans
  • Manage a caseload of patients undergoing titration and shared care
  • Support primary care colleagues through advice, collaboration and training
  • Provide clinical supervision for independent non-medical prescribers

Requirements

  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
  • CCT in General Adult Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Psychiatry of Learning Disability, Rehabilitation Psychiatry or Substance Misuse Psychiatry
  • Higher qualifications and/or training in the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental conditions are desirable
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice
  • Experience working in MDTs for patients with complex needs
  • Strong team ethos and the ability to collaborate effectively
