We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Works Group at Hawke's Bay Regional Council. As a Catchment Worker, you will be responsible for operating one of our long reach mowers based out of Guppy Road, Taradale. This role requires a high level of technical skill, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our engineers and landowners to ensure safe and efficient operation of our equipment. In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone who is committed to safe work practices, has a positive attitude towards health and safety, and is able to work independently or as part of a team. A clean current Class 1 driver's license is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with engineers and landowners to achieve project goals
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and communication
