We offer an attractive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
As a Patient Care Specialist at WOFO, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in various clinics, wards, emergency departments, and operating rooms. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing patient handling assistance as required, using correct lifting equipment and assisting with walking frames and other equipment
• Maintaining patient hygiene, comfort, and care, including assistance with sponging, showering, bathing, bed making, and preparing the room for admission
• Completing delegated tasks promptly without constant supervision
• Ensuring Health and Safety compliance by using equipment safely, reporting incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly, and following required policies and procedures, including infection control
• Restocking materials and completing cleaning duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Level 4 NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent)
• Exceptional people skills with empathy and compassion for all patients
• A reasonable level of fitness due to the nature of the role, able to perform required duties (including lifting)
• Excellent spoken and written English and numeracy skills
• Reliability and honesty with a positive attitude
• Willingness to undertake police clearance and undergo a health screening
