About the Role:
  • We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Programme Assistant to join our team.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and assist children in programme activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • In collaboration with the Programme Manager, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the daily programme format, following scheduled duties outlined on the task list.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and assist children in programme activities, promoting their engagement and participation.
  • Ensure the working environment remains clean, tidy, and safe for all children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Manager to maintain the daily programme format, adhering to scheduled duties and task lists.
  • Report any concerns or issues related to child behaviour or welfare to the Programme Manager.

Requirements:
  • A valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions.
  • Ability to commute or work around designated sites.
  • A keen interest in working within similar industries.
  • Previous experience working with children, including babysitting or volunteering.
