About the Role

The Business Development Manager at Datacom is responsible for cultivating relationships with clients and key decision-makers to identify opportunities for business growth. This role will focus on developing long-term relationships, working closely with internal bid teams, and building strategic partnerships to drive new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic market and product line business plans to support sales in designated segments.
  • Identify high-potential clients and develop partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Represent Datacom's interests in the sale of managed services, project services, IT infrastructure, maintenance, software, and other solutions.
  • Plan and manage territory development according to an agreed market strategy.
  • Develop and implement client and prospect account plans to achieve sales goals.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of technologies and services delivered by Datacom.
  • Knowledge of the Outsourced IT services market and Infrastructure project requirements.
  • Financial management skills, including cost estimation and budget tracking.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding budgeted sales and profit objectives.
