Job Summary

This Caregiver role is responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality personal care to residents in accordance with their individual needs and preferences
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing and toileting
  • Preparing and serving meals and snacks
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong commitment to providing person-centred care and respecting the dignity and autonomy of residents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays
