The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Wellness Leader. In this role, you will lead the implementation of our Attitude of Living Well approach, supporting team members to engage with residents in a way that promotes independence and well-being.
Your Responsibilities
- SUPPORT AND EMPOWER TEAM MEMBERS TO ENGAGE WITH RESIDENTS IN A WAY THAT PROMOTES INDEPENDENCE AND WELL-BEING.
- FORM PART OF THE WELLNESS TEAM AND REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE CLINICAL MANAGER.
Your Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for people living and working in aged care.
- EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL SKILLS WITH THE ABILITY TO ENGAGE AND INSPIRE OTHERS THROUGH PERSUASIVE COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING.
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERING HIGH-QUALITY PROGRAMS TO INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS WITH PAST EVIDENCE OF THE ABILITY TO ENGAGE WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF PEOPLE TO WORK TOWARDS A COMMON SHARED GOAL.
- CLEAR AND CONCISE WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
- CREATIVITY AND FLEXIBILITY.
- STRONG COMPUTER LITERACY WITH ADVANCED USER OF MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS INCLUDING EXCEL.
- LEADERSHIP AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, INFLUENCING SKILLS, AND GOOD COMMUNICATION (BOTH ORAL AND WRITTEN) ARE ESSENTIAL PARTS OF THIS ROLE.
