About the Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, and energetic person for the role of Wellness Leader within our community. This role leads the implementation of our Attitude of Living Well approach, which sits at the heart of our philosophy of care and resident engagement.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • SUPPORT AND EMPOWER TEAM MEMBERS TO ENGAGE WITH RESIDENTS IN A WAY THAT IS RELATIONSHIP-FOCUSED AND SUPPORTS OUR FIVE PILLARS OF WELLNESS: EATING WELL, RESTING WELL, MOVING WELL, THINKING WELL, AND ENGAGING WELL.
  • FORM PART OF THE WELLNESS TEAM AND REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE CLINICAL MANAGER.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for people living and working in aged care.
  • EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL SKILLS WITH THE ABILITY TO ENGAGE AND INSPIRE OTHERS THROUGH PERSUASIVE COMMUNICATION AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING.
  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN DELIVERING HIGH-QUALITY PROGRAMS TO INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS WITH PAST EVIDENCE OF THE ABILITY TO ENGAGE WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF PEOPLE TO WORK TOWARDS A COMMON SHARED GOAL.
  • CLEAR AND CONCISE WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
  • CREATIVITY AND FLEXIBILITY.
  • STRONG COMPUTER LITERACY WITH ADVANCED USER OF MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS INCLUDING EXCEL.
  • LEADERSHIP AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, INFLUENCING SKILLS, AND GOOD COMMUNICATION (BOTH ORAL AND WRITTEN) ARE ESSENTIAL PARTS OF THIS ROLE.
