We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland, a leading provider of health and disability services in central Auckland. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of mental health care in our region.
**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Youth Forensic Team at Greenlane Clinical Centre as a Lead Clinician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to our team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to young people in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to our team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans, tailored to the unique needs of each young person.
- Liaise with community agencies and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in youth forensic mental health.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff members, fostering their growth and professional development.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in a relevant field, such as psychiatry, psychology, or nursing.
- Extensive experience in mental health care, preferably in a clinical leadership role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with young people, families, and colleagues.
- Proven track record of innovation and creativity in service delivery.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
