**About Us**
Nz Playcentre Federation is a well-resourced centre that provides a nurturing environment for children and their families. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate educator to join our team as a Child Led Educator.
The successful candidate will work closely with our centre whanau to facilitate child-led play, support learning and development, and promote Te Reo Maori. They will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting parents and whanau as they explore and learn with their children during these special years.
We are looking for someone who holds a Playcentre Course 3 qualification or higher, or an Early Childhood qualification of Level 4 or higher. The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for empowering and engaging with all whanau, and knowledge of ECE regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate child-led play and support learning and development
- Mentor and support parents and whanau
- Promote Te Reo Maori
- Work closely with centre whanau
