Job Description
Session Facilitator RoleAs a Session Facilitator, you will play a key role in supporting tamariki and whanau in facilitating child-led play. You will work closely with our centre whanau to open sessions, guide activities, and facilitate learning while role modelling positive guidance and child-led play.
Responsibilities
- Support tamariki and whanau in facilitating child-led play
- Mentor and support parents and whanau in their learning journey
- Role model positive guidance and child-led play
- Encourage participation in the Playcentre Education programme
- Demonstrate the benefits of participating to whanau
Requirements
- Hold a Playcentre Course 3 qualification or higher or an EC qualification of Level 4 or higher
- Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to achieve this
- Possess knowledge and understanding of Te Whariki and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to use technology
