About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our continuous high-productivity bitumen emulsion manufacturing plant.
This includes active involvement in manufacturing activities, day-to-day operations, safety and environmental awareness, and plant maintenance.
The role requires a 'can-do' attitude, a proactive outlook, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities- Working closely with the production team to ensure the smooth operation of the plant
- Maintaining accurate records of plant performance and keeping plant management systems up to date
- Ensuring the plant is constantly maintained and looked after
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
The ideal candidate will have solid experience in manufacturing, preferably in bituminous or chemical production. A logical and common-sense approach to operating a computer-controlled plant is essential.
An uncompromising focus on safety, health, and environment is also required. An F endorsement for forklift operation would be advantageous.
