About the CNS-MH Role
The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Maori Health (CNS-MH) position presents a unique opportunity for an experienced palliative care nurse to develop their career and contribute to enhancing clinical services. This role will focus on Maori Health and advocacy, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve access for Maori patients.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate clinical, professional, and cultural leadership within the team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in palliative care or a related field.
- Ability to work at the top of your scope and demonstrate evidence-based practice.
- Strong understanding of Maori culture and its application in healthcare.
