We are currently seeking a skilled Abrasive Blaster to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting or other coatings by removing contaminants such as rust, paint, and scale using abrasive blasting techniques.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure that all blasting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with established procedures
  • Develop and implement effective surface preparation plans to meet client requirements
  • Source and supply high-quality abrasive media and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working order

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as an Abrasive Blaster, a relevant trade qualification (e.g., NZ Certificate in Surface Preparation), and excellent knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and safety procedures.
