As a seasoned Asphalt Paving Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to lead and motivate a team of 8-12 members in planning and supervising safe and successful day-to-day activities of a paving crew. Reporting to the Surfacing Manager, you will be actively involved in large resurfacing projects, State Highway works, site works, and sub-divisions. Your ability to lead and motivate your team will be essential in achieving project goals.

Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years technical experience in planning and delivering a variety of asphalt and compaction methodologies
* Experience with plant and people resourcing, managing utilisation and plant costs
* Ability to lead, motivate and influence your team
* Full clean Class 1 New Zealand Driver's License – Class 2 and WTR beneficial
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build long-standing relationships
* Self-motivation, a positive attitude and the ability to think independently
* Reliability, honesty, and flexibility as a team player
* Strong focus on health and safety for yourself, your team, and the public.
