**About the Takitimu North Link**

HEB Construction is delighted to partner with Fulton Hogan, Beca, Holmes, Waka Kotahi and local Hapu to deliver the $475M Takitimu North Link Stage 1 project. Once completed this will provide a four lane inter-regional connection between the existing SH2 from near Loop Road, Te Puna in the west, to SH29 Takitimu Drive Toll Road in the east, and includes an on-ramp from Fifteenth Avenue to the SH29 Takitimu Drive Toll Road. The new 6.5km long four-lane highway will improve the efficiency and safety of the strategic network, and will support growth in the Minden area.

**The role - Environmental Foreperson**

As part of the onsite environment management team, this position will play a key role in ensuring erosion and sediment control measures are constructed according to our environment control plans, and ensure plant, materials and labour are effectively utilised.
- 3+ years working for a major contractor in civil construction and infrastructure
- A solid understanding of environmental control construction and environmental management principles
- The ability to lead, coach and mentor a small team of labourers
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under direction from a Supervisor
- A full class 1 & 2 license, with WTR endorsements (WTR desired but not essential)
- A demonstrable commitment to Health & Safety ensuring everyone goes home safe every day
