Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Technician/Assistant to join our team at Hutt Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will provide high-quality patient care and assist the anaesthetist in the preparation, planning, and implementation of anaesthesia.

Responsibilities: Assist the anaesthetist in preparing patients for surgery, set up equipment, and maintain a safe working environment. Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow.

Requirements: Registration with the New Zealand Medical Sciences Council, current Annual Practicing Certificate or equivalent, and experience working in a perioperative setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
