Job Overview

As a Cloud Support Engineer at Engineeringuk, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides top-notch support for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients in resolving their technical issues related to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your Responsibilities

As a Cloud Support Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Solving complex technical issues related to AWS services such as Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, Cloud Watch, Route 53, and VPC.
  • Providing exceptional customer support through various communication channels including phone, email, and web/live chat.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall support processes.
  • Mentoring new hires and developing training materials to enhance the skills of the support team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • A good understanding of network security concepts including SSL/TLS, network- and web application firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention services.
  • Experience with networking and troubleshooting techniques using tools such as HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, routing and switching, load balancing.
  • Knowledge of operating systems oriented to maintenance and administrative purposes, preferably Windows or Linux.
