About The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Lead Engineer to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. In this critical role, you will lead our cybersecurity efforts, developing and implementing robust security strategies to protect our organization's digital assets and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on leadership and strategic planning. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures, as well as leading and mentoring a team of security professionals.

You will also design and implement advanced security measures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities, conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing, and manage and optimize security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and has a strong understanding of the latest trends, technologies, and threat landscapes. You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest developments and providing expert guidance to senior management on cybersecurity matters and risk mitigation strategies.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to have excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You will also need to be able to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
