About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team at the University of Otago, Faculty of Dentistry. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional radiographic dento-maxillo-facial x-ray imaging services.

Job Description
  • Provide complete and efficient radiographic dento-maxillo-facial x-ray imaging services.
  • Educate and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Assist academic staff, students, and research fellows in using radiographic techniques as part of their research.
Requirements
  • Be a qualified Medical Radiation Technologist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
  • Be registered with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists' Board (MRTB) or have the ability to have your experience and qualifications registered in New Zealand.
  • Satisfy the requirements of the NZMRT Board.
  • Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Have strong people skills with the ability to teach and assist students and staff.
  • Possess the ability to relate to patients and provide a high level of service.

Salary

$75,380 - $84,656 per annum. Top of the range is $94,075.
