At Rocket Lab, we're pushing the boundaries of space technology to improve life on Earth. As a Vehicle Integration Technician, you'll play a critical role in building and launching our Electron rocket. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of innovators who are dedicated to making space accessible for everyone.

We're seeking a highly skilled technician with 2+ years of experience in precision avionic and/or mechanical assembly. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that every component meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Install mechanical and/or avionic components, wiring harnesses, and high-voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle
  • Work effectively in a team environment and autonomously to achieve production and launch schedules
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in precision avionic and/or mechanical assembly
  • Comfortable working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service
  • A good level of eyesight and ability to inspect assemblies to a high workmanship standard
