We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team as a Design Engineer for Hydroelectric Facilities.
As a key member of our hydro team, you will assist senior engineers in preparing detailed designs, specifications, and reports for hydraulic structures and other infrastructure associated with renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities include assisting senior engineers in performing structural design, calculations, and preparation of drawings, specifications, and reports.
You will also ensure design compliance with relevant engineering standards and codes and prepare preliminary and detailed design calculations and specifications for hydroelectric generating stations, spillways, and concrete dams.
Our ideal candidate will have a solid academic background in structural engineering, proficiency in software packages such as STAAD Pro/SAP 2000, and excellent communication skills.
In addition, you will work closely with our team to prepare technical reports, memoranda, and meeting minutes and manage time spent on design and project tasks to meet established project-specific workplans.
- Assist senior engineers in performing structural design, calculations, and preparation of drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure design compliance with relevant engineering standards and codes.
- Prepare preliminary and detailed design calculations and specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, memoranda, and meeting minutes.
