**Job Description**
Hudson Global Resources has been engaged to manage this procurement process for the New Zealand Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), to support the establishment of the Bina Harbour Tuna Processing Plant (BHTPP) in the Solomon Islands.
This role involves leading and coordinating the work to establish area governance arrangements to ensure equitable benefits to communities and individuals who will host the project on their customary lands, seas, and waters.
- Lead the implementation of BRAG contracted services according to the Grant Funding Arrangement, design document, and costed workplans.
- Manage a team to develop and manage the annual costed workplan for BRAG activities, ensuring activities are planned, coordinated, reviewed, and revised in accordance with allocated funding, the BRAG design document, and BHPO Implementation Plan.
- Oversee the development and sustenance of governance structures, including trust entities and commercial entities for landowners, and manage land and water access agreements.
This role requires strong project management skills, experience in managing complex multi-stakeholder projects, and a deep understanding of local arrangements and cultural awareness. The appointee will be expected to adhere to the professional standards of a senior technical advisor and maintain integrity, objectivity, and political neutrality during the assignment.
