Role Overview

The Care and Recovery team at Cornwall House provides comprehensive psychiatric assessments and therapeutic treatment options to adults experiencing serious mental illness and severe psychological disorders living in south-central Auckland. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload and provide medical input to the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct home, community, and GP-based visits, as well as liaison with other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with service users, their whanau, and local communities to ensure effective care coordination
