**Job Description**

We are currently recruiting for two vacancies for Adult Inpatient Psychiatrists in Auckland and Hamilton, New Zealand. The successful candidates will have a strong background in adult acute psychiatry and be eligible for vocational registration in psychiatry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for adults with serious mental illness and severe psychological disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the improvement of services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in adult acute psychiatry
  • Eligibility for vocational registration in psychiatry
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
