We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team in Christchurch, New Zealand. This is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with dentists to provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and at ease throughout their appointments.
- Manage dental records and update patient information accurately in the dental software system.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of dental supplies as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Requirements and Specifications:
- Proven experience in dental procedures and terminology (on-the-job training will be provided).
