We are an international environmental consultancy with a globally recognised reputation for providing high quality tailored services. Our team of experts provides consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to business, regulatory and governmental clients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate/Principal Consultant to join our Land Quality and Remediation discipline in either Tauranga or Hamilton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for contaminated land management, earth sciences, and/or contaminated hydrogeology.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth, developing key client relationships, and driving business development in the region. They will also assist in building a technical delivery team and support team resourcing and development, and act as a professional role model for staff across the team with a caring and compassionate nature.

Key Skills and Experience

You will possess the following skills:

  • A professional qualification in environmental science or engineering or other relevant degree and circa 10-15+ years professional experience in consulting or similar industry role.
  • Proven capability in environmental / contamination management (soil and groundwater)/ remediation (soil and groundwater), closed landfill management.
  • A high level of commercial acumen and proven success in developing winning proposals and client relationship management.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret complex situations/problems and develop appropriate solutions in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven report writing skills and high computer literacy including data management and manipulation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
