We're looking for an experienced professional to provide advisory services to enhance community resilience and preparedness for disasters.

In this position, you'll work closely with the Emergency Management Officer to develop a comprehensive training pathway and manage local team equipment.

  • You will lead the delivery of training programs to ensure volunteer teams are well-prepared.
  • Collaborate with the Emergency Management Officer to build strong relationships with key emergency management stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of training programs to ensure volunteer teams are well-prepared.
  • Collaborate with the Emergency Management Officer to build strong relationships with key emergency management stakeholders.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A qualification in Emergency Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least three years of experience in leading, supporting, coaching, recruiting, and training volunteers.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in an emergency management context, including disaster readiness, resilience, response, or recovery.
