About the Role

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our efforts in developing high and ultra-high voltage SiC devices. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or solid-state physics and significant industry experience in SiC devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing Core Technologies: Formulate strategies and develop core technologies for high and ultra-high voltage SiC devices aimed at future power system applications and energy savings.
  • Leading Research Efforts: Lead research focused on the development of SiC high-voltage Superjunction (SJ) MOSFETs, Ultra-high-voltage IGBTs, and related core technologies.
  • Collaborating with Industry Partners: Lead collaborations with industry-leading partners to enhance the SiC ecosystem in the field of high-voltage devices and power electronics, facilitating the effective utilization of renewable energy & applications in high voltage power electronics.
Requirements:
  • Education: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Solid-State Physics.
  • Experience: 15+ years of related and industry experience in SiC devices.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to foster an innovative culture within teams, resulting in a robust patent portfolio in the field of SiC devices.
