Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the development of high voltage testing capabilities for wafer-level and package-level devices.
  • Designing and developing custom test fixtures and equipment for high voltage power electronic devices.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance on high voltage characterization and analysis techniques.
  • Creating software programs to control laboratory instruments and automate data collection and analysis.
  • Conducting thorough examinations of SiC MOSFETs, diodes, IGBTs, and other power devices to identify potential issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in power electronics research and development.
  • Excellent understanding of device physics, material science, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with high voltage measurement techniques and instruments, including oscilloscopes, source meters, and probe stations.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, LabVIEW, and C++.
  • Proven track record of successfully mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
