About the Role

This role sees you working closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and developing solutions to meet those needs.

You will lead technical discussions with clients to determine the optimal solution to meet their needs, and contribute to project documentation, including scope and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and expectations
  • Lead technical discussions with clients to determine the optimal solution to meet their needs
  • Contribute to project documentation, including scope and deliverables
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks effectively
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide guidance and support to other teams within the organisation

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, majoring in Power Systems
  • Strong technical knowledge of NZ specifications, standards and codes
  • Experience leading technical discussions with clients to determine the optimal solution to meet their needs
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
  • 8 to 10 years Power System Analysis experience, preferably in a consultancy
