We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Intensive Family Wraparound Service (IFWS) worker. This is a full-time position based in Dunedin, with opportunities to work with diverse populations throughout Otago and Southland.

The IFWS ensures tamariki and whanau are safe, recover from past trauma, and have a positive future together. As an IFWS worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Work closely with tamariki and whanau to understand their needs and develop personalized plans to support their safety and wellbeing
  • Engage with local communities to build relationships and identify resources that can support families
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting families
  • Provide ongoing supervision and support to ensure workers are equipped to provide high-quality services
**Requirements**
  • A commitment to biculturalism and the promise of equity laid down by Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Demonstrated ability to deeply engage, walk alongside, and offer consistent kindness to tamariki and whanau
  • An understanding of therapeutic social work, systems theory, and the impacts of relational trauma
  • Able to work independently and utilise tools and theories to inform practice
  • A high standard of literacy and communication skills
  • Full Social Work Registration and current practicing certificate
