In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our tauira. As a Kaiako - Maori Governance Expert, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality lesson plans, responding to tauira learning needs, and evaluating tauira progress.

Our kaupapa Maori organisation values cultural awareness, adaptability, and strong communication skills. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting tauira success and fostering a learning environment that respects and elevates Maori values.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Maori Governance, Leadership, and/or related roles, with a minimum of 5+ years' experience. They will also hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maori / Business Studies or comparative equivalent, and have a Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) or equivalent.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement innovative educational programmes that meet the needs of our tauira. You will also be expected to participate in cultural activities and develop and uphold ahuatanga Maori (values, culture, and tikanga).
