This role is part of a dynamic, high-achieving organisation fuelled by local and central government and key industry leaders across the entire aerospace sector.

You will be part of our Committee of volunteers and staff working towards a common goal of promoting and supporting New Zealand's emerging aerospace community.

In this role, you'll contribute to planning, executing, and promoting Aerospace New Zealand's core activities and special projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of business, digital marketing, social media, and event coordination. As a small team, collaboration, meeting deadlines efficiently, and actively seeking ways to improve internal processes are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Operations Lead in planning and executing Aerospace New Zealand events and special projects
  • Contribute to the production of Aerospace New Zealand newsletters and updates
  • Assist in creating engaging digital content for social media platforms
  • Support the maintenance and updating of Aerospace New Zealand's website, blog, and social media platforms
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable
  • Work with the Operations Team to provide post-project/event reporting
  • Provide general administrative and logistical support to the Operations Team as needed
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Qualification in business management, marketing, communications, event management, project management or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and project/event coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the aerospace industry
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn
