Your Role as a Speech Pathologist

  • You will work closely with families to develop and implement individualised therapy plans that address their child's communication needs and goals.
  • You will use your expertise to assess and treat a range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and literacy difficulties.
  • You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for children with complex needs.
  • You will participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication, and parent-child interaction therapy.
