The Career Transition Lead will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering the Transition Out of School Programme.
This role involves providing personalised guidance on educational and career pathways, building strong networks with tertiary providers, workplaces, and community organisations, managing the Gateway Programme, leading and supporting staff in integrating career education into the curriculum, and having 0.8 FTTE management release time and providing 0.2 FTTE 1:1 teaching to support student transitions.
Key Performance Indicators:Success in this role will be measured by:
- The effectiveness of the Transition Out of School Programme in supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- The quality of relationships built with external stakeholders.
- The success of individualised work experience opportunities through the Gateway Programme.
- The incorporation of career education into the curriculum.
- The impact of the role on student transitions.
