Key Responsibilities

We are seeking to grow our Land Quality and Remediation business in the Central North Island. As a Senior Sustainability Advisor, you will work with likeminded individuals, whilst enjoying excellent career opportunities across a range of industry sectors.

A key requirement for this role is a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for growth, develop key client relationships, and drive business development in the region. You will assist in building a technical delivery team and support team resourcing and development, and act as a professional role model for staff across the team with a caring and compassionate nature.

Key Skills and Experience

You will possess the following skills:

  • A professional qualification in environmental science or engineering or other relevant degree and circa 10-15+ years professional experience in consulting or similar industry role.
  • Proven capability in environmental / contamination management (soil and groundwater)/ remediation (soil and groundwater), closed landfill management.
  • A high level of commercial acumen and proven success in developing winning proposals and client relationship management.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret complex situations/problems and develop appropriate solutions in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven report writing skills and high computer literacy including data management and manipulation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
