Biodiversity Protection Officer

The main objectives of our department are to support Māori to exercise tino rangatiratanga and kaitiakitanga, protect and restore Auckland's natural environment, and empower Aucklanders to become environmental stewards and take proactive climate action.

We welcome applications from graduates in various disciplines including Conservation Management, Natural Sciences, Earth Sciences, Biology, Environmental Science, and Ecology. To be eligible to apply, you must have a relevant Bachelor's degree completed between January 2024 and January 2026, eligibility to work in New Zealand for more than 3 years without sponsorship, and a valid New Zealand restricted driver's license.
