The Role
We are seeking an experienced NZ Registered Psychologist with a PostGraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or Child and Family Psychology to join our team. As a Psychologist on the Child, Adolescent & Family Mental Health Service (North Community & Outreach Team), you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions to young people and their families
- Developing and reviewing job plans and caseloads with the Clinical Manager
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, community organizations, and statutory agencies
- Communicating effectively with consumers and their families/whanau
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A NZ Registered Psychologist qualification with a PostGraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or Child and Family Psychology
- Experience working in mental health settings, preferably with children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
