About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Adult Mental Health Professional to join our West Adult Community Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will work closely with a skilled and motivated team of multidisciplinary professionals to provide holistic care to adults with mental illnesses.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing assessment and treatment services for consumers with mental illnesses aged 18 – 65 years.
- Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to develop therapeutic, supportive and empowering relationships with consumers.
- Collaborating with family/whanau and carers to ensure holistic care.
Requirements
- Experience in mental health is essential.
- A minimum of 2 year's experience in a mental health setting is preferable.
- New Zealand registration with the relevant professional board and current Annual Practicing Certificate is essential.
