The Position
We are seeking a senior software engineer with expertise in NextFlow to join our team servicing a major US client. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing complex software projects using NextFlow and Python
- Collaborating with the team to achieve project goals
- Staying up-to-date with modern bioinformatics approaches and algorithms
Requirements
- 5+ years in a software development role or demonstrated equivalent capability
- Excellent written and oral English skills
- Demonstrated competence with NextFlow and Python
- Applicable qualification in software development or computer science
- Comfort with Unix command line/shell script programming
- Solid experience with version control (Git)
- Familiarity with modern bioinformatics approaches and algorithms for genomic sequence analysis
