Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Utility Worker to join our Gas team in Wellington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking civil labour work and operating plant to support our Gas team's field activities.

Main Tasks
  1. Conducting civil labour tasks as required, including manual handling and physical labour
  2. Operating plant and equipment to support Gas team operations, adhering to safety protocols at all times
  3. Maintaining a safe working environment, identifying and reporting any hazards or risks
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class 1 NZ Driver Licence (Class 2, WTR preferred)
  • Previous experience in civil labour or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work within our zero harm systems
