The Role

We are looking for a skilled nurse who can provide high-quality patient care in the operating theatre environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing surgery, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve seamless patient care
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current New Zealand Practicing Certificate
  • Experience in the perioperative environment (desired but not essential)
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional Saturdays
