The Role: With expansion on the horizon, our client requires an accomplished Head of Production to oversee their current teams, provide direction, and ensure regulatory compliance in their GMP-licensed facilities. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this leader will manage day-to-day operations at both Napier and Christchurch sites, focusing on people, policies, programs, and initiatives that drive success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to production teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Ensure seamless communication among teams, stakeholders, and management, maintaining open lines of dialogue.
- Develop and implement effective operational plans, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance quality.
- Maintain accurate records, adhere to regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards.

Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or Technology, or similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical compounding manufacturing, preferably within a sterile environment.
- Proven track record of leadership, team management, and mentoring in a regulated industry.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
